NE Regional Sr. Project Manager for LTE/Mod Upgrade

·               Currently Northeast Region Sr. Project Manager for T –Mobile LTE Upgrade for 2,272 plus sites in 9 markets.

·               Responsibilities include reporting into Sr. Regional Mgt. regarding the review, correction, problem resolution, of the National Wireless MLA Partners’ sites. Additionally, interfacing with the NE Region T Mobile Markets (New England, CT., NY, Upstate NY, Long Island, PA, Central PA, DC Metro, and VA) regarding processes, problems, and updating changes to the individual applications.

·               Also, work closely with the National MLA Tower Cos: Mobilitie, T-Mobile Towers, Crown Castle, American Tower, SBA, Global Tower Partners, TowerCo, Skyway. As the single point of contact, ALL the RFDS/applications have to be reviewed for correctness by me in contrast to the T Mobile Data Base.

Regional Project Manager

·               Responsible for the NY,NJ, LI, contract negotiations with Private, Commercial, Public, Utility, State, Highway, Railroad ( consent)  for the HSPA/LTE 4G Build, to bring fiber to wireless equipment throughout the five boroughs of Manhattan / Northern NJ/ Long Island, NY , 3,415 sites.

·               Project managed from site selection to construction hand-off. Data base development/ Lease review, site selection, landlord negotiation; special issues (previous damage to property etc.) problem solving and resolution amendments/ Verizon vendor management to completion/ Right of Way/ easements/ referrals to litigation.

·               Negotiated “special access” provisions with American Tower/Tower Co/Crown Castle negating fees for these fiber upgrade sites equating to an $885,000 savings to T Mobile as no fees were charged for the site upgrades within the existing leased area.

·               Responsible for the re- negotiating, coordinating and full execution of bulk collocation transactions for the NE Region with Tower Companies and Utilities

·               Achieved enhanced financial terms and conditions from Tower Companies in spite of existing MLAs

·               Achieved substantial rent credit for Tower sites that had not been installed due to Tower Company delay

 

December 2007 - February 2009

Local Market Manager, NYC

·               Responsible for the facilitation of processes and procedures regarding the implementation of the NYC Franchise Agreement managed by the Department of Internet, Technology and Telecommunications ( DoITT), in order to implement the 1, 275 DAS node network in the five boroughs of New York City

·               Analysis of the Franchise Agreement established the “limited jurisdiction” of DoITT relative to Public Utility Infrastructure versus the City’s owned Metal Street Lights

·               NextG was able to move forward quickly to do make ready work, and construction on Verizon and ConEd poles as the process was substantially less encumbered for over 900 utility (ConEd and Verizon) pole locations

·               Frequent presentation meetings with DoITT to negotiate NextG’s evolving needs and objectives in order to smooth the process for node implementation. Managed and resolved emergency situations that arose with other NYC entities, NYC Parks Department, FDNY, Department of Transportation; Battery Park City Authority, citizens’ groups etc. Secured 70 NYC Parks permits; developed the “process” for Battery Park City Authority Permitting within NextG. Secured the impossible location in Battery Park City at First Place and Battery Place for a new Bishop’s Crook Pole.
